Abstract	The article provides a summary of the views and approaches shared by scholars with regard to forming of the system of judicial remedies for the protection of the ownership right and other rights in rem based on their review and systematization. The article specifies the protection remedies forming the system of judicial remedies for the protection of the ownership right and other rights in rem, the criteria used to divide them into groups, and the types of groups of such remedies. Focus is given to the views of scholars on the comprehension of the legal nature and purpose of individual protection remedies in the context of the possibility of their assignment to a specific group within the system of judicial remedies for the protection of the ownership right and other rights in rem in particular or to this system in general.
